NBMCA Enviro Daycamp Website

The NBMCA’s Summer Enviro Daycamps are designed to provide children aged 6-12 years old with a fun filled outdoor (and indoor) experience. Each day has a different environmentally based theme. Campers can register for a single day or for the entire week (Monday to Friday)and have the option of additional before or after care. The daycamp is held in the NBMCA’s Natural Classroom at 15 Janey Avenue in North Bay. Outdoor activities take place onsite at the Laurentian Escarpment Conservation Area. The camp costs $105/week or $26/day. Museum Summer Camp at Discovery North Bay Website

Location: Discovery North Bay Museum
Registration is open for Museum Summer Camp! Open to ages 6-12, we will be offering programs on a full day basis. Each day, participants will explore two different topics through tours, crafts and hands-on activities. Book one, two, three, four days or the entire week. Programs will run from 9am to 4:00 pm. Cost is $45.00 per day for members and $50.00 non-members
Full Week: $ 160.00 members and $180 non-members

The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) is offering a guided tour of the Eau Claire Gorge Conservation Area off Highway 17 on Thursday, July 24th at 7:00p.m. The NBMCA’s staff naturalist will provide visitors with the important ecological and social history of the site. Highlights include the spectacular Eau Claire Falls and a re-created logger’s cabin.Tickets are $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for children aged six to 12 and free for children under five. The public can contact the NBMCA at 474-5420 for more information or to make a reservation.
